Trends
I collect photos daily and then compile and analyze them at the end of each month. From that I can discover trends and have a comprehensive archive of the year
January - A Color Exploration
This month’s trends included dusty light pink, emerald green, sea foam, and of course Pantone’s Cloud Dancer.
February - Celebrated Individuality
From the rink to the runway we saw bold statements told through texture. Ruffles, fringe and feathers took center stage both literally and figuratively.
March - Spring Brings Surrealism
Beyond the emergence of the typical spring florals this month brought a playful energy from exaggerated fashion silhouettes to surrealism through anthropomorphized objects.
April - Trendy Outliers
This month’s colors were a healthy mix of spring pastels and brighter bolder shades. Stepping out of the traditional ROY G BIV there were a few other stand out themes. These included the use of transparency from jelly shoes, to packaging to glassware. Shades of sandy tan were spotted across industries and the cultural spectrum from the royal family to Coachella merch. The final color trend was burgundy.
